Inspiration from mother nature
Inspired by the soft stillness of morning dew resting upon nature, Tushaar reflects purity, calmness, and understated sophistication. Woven on traditional Indian handlooms using 100% natural cotton in both the warp (taana) and the weft (baana), it preserves generations of weaving wisdom that continue to thrive through the skilled hands of Indian artisans.
The shirt features the Textured Chataai Weave—a basket-inspired handloom structure celebrated for its naturally rich surface, exceptional breathability, and lasting durability. Its fine linear texture is created patiently during the weaving process, allowing light and shadow to reveal subtle depth across the fabric. Rather than relying on artificial finishes, the texture is born from the loom itself, giving every shirt its own authentic character and quiet elegance.
The Luxury of Time
From preparing the raw cotton yarn to meticulous hand weaving and thoughtful tailoring, the journey of this shirt takes nearly 3–4 months. To preserve the rarity of this textured weave and its serene natural shade, only 30 shirts are crafted in every batch.
