From one itch to a movement.

In 2025 alone, we travelled 20,000 km across 7 states of India, tested the fabrics of handloom and learnt the near to extinct ancient wisdom of INDIA: nature inspired weaves from the weavers, then from our research and testing we redefined what comfort truly means.

It all began in 2017 after experiencing natural fibres for the first time on my skin with one simple question: why do most "cotton" clothes fail the skin?

The answer became Guru Vastra — natural fibres on Ahimsa handloom for every skin.

Guided by the teachings of Acharyashree Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj and present Acharya Samay Sagar Ji Maharaj, GURU VASTRA exists to bring Ahimsa handloom back to every skin, and every class in value for money.

What is Ahimsa handloom?

No silk. No mutton tallow. No insect crushing or boiling for fabric coloring. Only and only natural fibres, woven slowly with nature inspired weaves like river wave weave, honeycomb weave, bird feather weave, chain weave, bulbul chashm weave and many other are still under exploration. All weaves are done on Handloom(Hathkargha) with care and dignity.
