Inspiration from the mother nature
Inspired by the endless depth of India's clear blue skies, Neel Aakash captures the calm strength and quiet confidence found in nature. Woven on traditional Indian handlooms using 100% natural cotton in both the warp (taana) and the weft (baana), it preserves generations of weaving wisdom that continue to live through the skilled hands of our artisans.
The shirt features the ancient Chataai Weave—a basket-inspired handloom structure celebrated for its naturally textured surface, exceptional breathability, and remarkable durability. Its subtle texture is created patiently on the loom, allowing every thread to settle naturally into the fabric. Unlike machine-made textiles, this heritage weave cannot be hurried or perfectly replicated, giving every shirt its own authentic character and timeless appeal.
The Luxury of Time
From preparing the raw cotton yarn to meticulous hand weaving and thoughtful tailoring, the journey of this shirt takes nearly 3–4 months. To preserve the rarity of this weave and its deep natural blue shade, only 40 shirts are crafted in every batch.
